The other pages on this site are each one client, one engagement, one set of deliverables. This one is not. It collects the work that never became a case study — a wedding out at a state park, a sideline, a restaurant shot around service, an afternoon of portraits, a car — and it exists because that work is most of what a production studio actually does in a year.

The weddings are documentary: the couple in the last of the light, the rings, an hour under the pines. The sport is available light and a long lens — a sideline, and a volleyball arena where the whole frame is one player above the net — and nothing there repeats or waits for a second take. The restaurant frames — the tablescape, the plated dish, the sushi counter, the kitchen mid-service, the bar — were shot around service rather than in place of it, which is the only way a working kitchen will have you.

The rest is the studio itself: the floor, the cyc wall, the lighting being set, the colour suite, the control room, the edit bay. Those are here deliberately. A production company that shows only its finished cuts is asking to be judged on the polish; showing the room and the crew is how you show the part that decides whether the polish was any good.
