Who we are

We didn't inherit a scene. We're building one.

Behind the scenes · Lincoln NE
Where it started

Broduction started as a joke that stuck.

"Bro" and "Production" — Broduction — was a name a handful of friends gave themselves in California back in 2021, years before it was anyone's job. It was just the group that showed up for each other: someone's short film, someone's senior project, whoever needed a second pair of hands behind a camera and someone to hype them up while they got it.

Broduction Studio LLC became real in January 2026 — and it landed in Lincoln, Nebraska on purpose, not by accident. Nebraska didn't have what California already had: a scene, young crews working, a place where someone with a camera and no client roster yet could actually get hired. So we're building that here instead of waiting for someone else to.

The goal isn't modest. We want Lincoln — and the Midwest — to be a real center for media production, not a market companies fly into and back out of. One crew, every project, growing month over month, still small enough that whoever answers your first email is who shows up on the shoot day.

How we work

No clocked, fluorescent-light culture.

Most production work runs like most other jobs: hierarchical, watched, stressful for the people actually doing the creative work. We built Broduction to be the opposite of that on purpose — a place students and young creatives can come shoot, learn, and get paid without absorbing the anxiety that's supposed to come standard with "the industry."

One crew
Not a roster of freelancers you've never met — the people on your shoot are the people who answer your first email.
Lincoln-based
Shooting across Nebraska, and traveling nationally when a project calls for it.
Growing on purpose
Every hire is someone who gets a real seat, not headcount for its own sake.
